DIY Easter Bunny & Pom Pom Garlands

Two birds, one stone. That's how this one went down. Figuratively speaking of course! Honestly any craft that's easy enough is my kind of craft.  I don't have a lot of patience and these simple crafts are more to my liking and for my viewing pleasure more than anyone else's.

The kids have outgrown the Easter baskets and Egg hunts therefore I'd like to at least have it feel somewhat like Easter/Spring around here. So these two Garlands that practically look like one are perfection to me.

Besides having bought the Wooden bunny garland for $3 at the Target dollar bins back in February everything else (below) I already had.

After you've got the items you need at hand just get to work on putting it all together.  This is how mine turned out.  I have yet to perfect my pom poms made out of yarn but I'm still happy with how they look.

I went on to pinterest and youtube to find tutorials on how to make them but Miss Mustard Seed also has a great post on how to make them nice and fluffy!

I simply cut some burlap ribbon and tied it in between each of the bunnies for some color in between.

The pom pom garland is separate from the bunny garland but I just hung it right on top of the bunny garland to add some flair and color also.  This teal or aqua color is really one of my top favorite colors and I've been wanting to incorporate it into some holiday decor lately, Spring was it.

I bought the yarn at Michael's and the burlap ribbon at the Dollar store, which both I've had for a while now.  I tend to buy these things when I see them and know that I'll be using them in a future craft.

This project literally cost no more than $6 or $7 dollars if I had to put a price on it.

We don't have much planned for Easter weekend but I'll definitely be enjoying my view.

What are your Easter plans?
