Decluttering & Prepping for Fall!

I'm not sure if anyone else does this or not, but this is a first for me, not that cleaning out is a first, but doing so before Summer ends. Now that we have our own house, it really feels good to let go of so much and start the school year fresh!

First and foremost, I'm not a hoarder, I'm actually sometimes very annoyingly OCD but because I'm a lover of all things crafty, antiquity, vintage like, basically all things pretty with potential, I have collected quite a bit, including souvenirs, memorabilia, not to mention items that I've thought at some point maybe someday I'll need or use again, left over party supplies, plus my kids have outgrown a lot of their own personal once useful or sentimental items too and of course there's the extra clothes, hand bags, shoes and the list goes on.

I can only hope that some of you can relate.

Just is a little inspiration I ran into via pinterest...below.

Spring cleaning is just around the corner. Don't hit a de-cluttering roadblock! When organizing your home, remember to ask yourself these 6 things.:

I realized that none of this stuff is going to be sentimental or mean much to anyone else but me in the long run but one's trash is someone else's treasure literally and I truly do believe that. Because HELLO .... I also tend to break for other people's junk when I see potential.

With that being said we're having our first garage sale and hopefully it's a good turn out and profit a little for more home renovations plus it's fun to see things go to others who'll probably appreciate those things just like we once did.

After this past weekend of looking through so many boxes, emptying out closet spaces and garage space for the first time ever since we moved in, the house already feels so light and I cant wait to reorganize for the sake of organization and sanity come this Fall.

Mentally I'm ready to start figuring out what's next. Physically not so much. Give me a week. Or two and then hopefully I can start focusing on other parts of the house.

I'll let you know how it goes, so make sure to follow me on Instagram and Facebook for updates.
