The Pamper Me Pantry Box

Disclosure: I received a Pamper Me Pantry box in support of this review. No money compensation was given and all opinions are my own. Please note, this blog does not provide medical advise, diagnosis or treatment. Please consult with your healthcare physician/practitioner.

When given the opportunity to give this box a try, I could not resist. I have a soft spot for non-profit foundations and the good that they do. And in this case an even bigger soft spot for this specific cause. A message that I truly believe in and a box that every family should invest in for their wellness no matter what.

We have very close friends and relatives with children and relatives with Autism diagnosis in different forms. Throughout the years its been a learning curve trying to find support and ways to help children and adolescents with autism. I used to babysit a friend's son with autism occasionally which inspired me to take a "special needs class" soon after I realized I was clueless about how to communicate or help them more than I knew how. I'm glad I did. Though I'm sure since then, a lot has changed. It made a world of difference in how I view their world now.

I did learn in my special needs class that anyone with autism needs to follow a special diet, there are foods they should and shouldn't eat. Eating a more plant based diet, gluten free, dairy free and unprocessed foods is the best way to maintain a healthier outlook, helps them with mood swings and their overall daily activities. I'm no expert, but its what I've learned through professional and personal experience to be true.

The Autism Hope Alliance is the non-profit behind Pamper Me Pantry, and embodies hope for families facing the diagnosis of Autism through education, financial support and volunteerism. The Autism Hope Alliance is the first non-profit foundation for Autism to emerge from the natural foods industry. With over 100 partners, they are proud to have such notable brands including Applegate, Enzymedica, ECOS/Earth Friendly Products and Bob's Red Mill, which I'm sure you're familiar with.

One of their proudest accomplishments is creating AHA’s Autism Approved® program, which is designed to highlight numerous products, materials, clothing, toys and other goods and to share with the community companies that are making a difference for autism families. To be Autism Approved, the partner must be gluten and dairy free. Launched this year, AHA's Pamper Me Pantry is a quarterly gift box that families can order individually for a minimum donation of $34.99 or a donation of $124.99 for a subscription of 4 boxes for one year.

Each Pamper Me Pantry box contains a minimum of $125 worth of full-sized products from some of their partners. Each box is unique so you truly don't know what you will get! They feature some of their favorite brands like Barleans, Daiya, Kinnikinick and Sunshine Burgers

Truth is I believe this box is a great investment not only for your family but for so many others that will benefit from the proceeds. It beats the guessing or having to do the research on what to buy or look for next time you're at your health food store. I love that even us as we attempt to do our best to be a gluten and dairy free family as much as possible, we can also benefit from such a fulfilling box. I want you, my friends, my family (with or without Autism diagnosis) to know all there is to know about Pamper Me Pantry and for you to benefit from all the amazing food included.

This is also a blessing for many with any allergies or specific diet requirements.
