Homegating With The Real MVP | Meatball Appetizers

This is a sponsored post by Farm Rich, but recipe and opinions are my very own.

I know what you're thinking. I'm a little late to the party and why a not so sporty girl like me would be talking about homegating and football?!

Okay, so I might not know much about football, but I definitely know food. And I know how well they go together during the season and when it comes to official game time.

Besides, little do you know, I am a sporty girl, except I'd rather eat and talk about food. The kids are the true football fans around here so its a treat to treat them, family and friends to some homegating! Hadn't you heard, "homegating" is the new tailgating.

Like most of our friends and family who also love to host "homegating" by watching the game from their own home with good food or our home, we're totally on board with that!

In fact today I'd like to introduce you to some easy snacking "finger foods", not at all messy and little to no work in the kitchen. Yesss, my all time fave, less work more play.

These meatballs are seriously as delicious as they look. They take little to no effort. In fact they already come premade for you, our favorite are the Farm Rich Original Homestyle meatballs and all I did was throw them in a crockpot for 2 1/2 hours on high with 1 cup of water, about 2 tablespoons of teriyaki sauce and 1 tablespoon of honey, with about a teaspoon of garlic salt.

I honestly pretty much eyeballed all of the ingredients. I kept on eye on them to make sure the taste was accurate and they turned out delicious, the kids and hubs agreed. I simply set them out on a pretty simple serving dish, so everyone could just grab and eat.

We used our fingers but you could add toothpicks to make it somewhat easier and prettier if you're having a party.

I've been a fan of Farm Rich for a long time, but more so during football season, they have so many tasty snacks that you can throw in the oven and the different meatball recipes (italian, homestyle and even turkey to name a few) easy enough to warm up in an oven, stove top or crockpot.

Setting the mood with a chalkboard signs, sport themed servingware, napkins, trays, etc and let's not forget the original soft drink, Dr Pepper ... oh but there's more ...

Can't forget about their calcium rich Mozzarella Sticks and Jalapeno Poppers, which are also just as delicious. We're suckers for anything cheesy and jalapeno, quick and easy to prep, no time to waste before the game starts.

Who's your favorite team this season?

Finding Farm Rich snacks and appetizers is super easy, just head over to your local grocery freezer isle and be ready for your next game day "homegate" party or get together.
