A Classic Seasonal Treat | S'More Pops

Thought these were a fun treat to make since we had all of the ingredients on hand.  We simply love a good s'more around here, isn't it amazing how far this classic summer treat has come and its a never ending Summer and Fall treat.

There's something about having it in the Summer and Fall seasons that just makes it that much yummier.  Doesn't it?

These were easy and nice to have as a sweet snack around for when the urge or craving kicks in but with no time to turn on a fire pit or to head to the beach for a bonfire s'more.  Any kid, at any age, including adults can appreciate this s'more pop!

These s'more pops are easy to make and easy to eat too, hello, s'more on a stick.

Here is what you need...I've also linked everything below.
  •  Large or Medium Marshmallows (or if you prefer the normal size)
  • Your choice of any 12 oz bag of Semi-Sweet Morsels Chocolate chips
  • Honey Graham Crackers to crumble or you can replace with crushed peanuts or almonds
  • Wooden dowel sticks (I purchased mine at Dollartree but these are great too)
  • Here's a little break down of how you go about creating these delicious treats.
  1. You want to make sure you have all your ingredients laid out and ready for making.
  2. Prepare your marshmallows by sticking the mini wooden dowels into the marshmallows.
  3. Place them on a flat cookie sheet covered with wax paper so when you dip the marshmallows in the chocolate and graham cracker they don't stick to the cookie sheet.
  4. You can now begin by crushing your graham crackers to you liking in a bowl or Ziploc bag, place them in a wide bowl for when needed.
  5. Begin to melt your semi-sweet morsels chocolate chips, you can do this either in the microwave in 15 second increments or by melting in a glass bowl over a simmering pot.  I personally prefer melting them over a glass bowl and simmering pot because it allows me to stir and melt to my liking and I do add a little bit of butter to make it slightly creamier.
  6. Once the chocolate is to the perfect melted consistency, you can now start to dip your marshmallows 1/4 of the way up and quickly dip into your crushed graham crackers.
You should have the perfect S'more pop at this point.

Continue the process until you have all the S'more pops you want.

These pretty much set in a matter of minutes, but I like to refrigerate mine for a good half hour and if serving for a party or guests, you want to take these out of refrigeration about an hour or half hour before serving. Or you can serve right away after making them if you, your family or friends are eager to eat one or two!

This classic treat is sure to please your kiddos or any family member or friend!  I love an easy and fast treat for home or on the go, easy to carry and eat all at the same time.  Super easy to make and if you have little's, this is one they'll love making with mom or dad or both.

Enjoy!
