We all want to have perfect, flawless skin, but achieving that is much more hassle than many people would seem to think. The truth is that perfect skin is not natural, and that’s why it takes such a lot of effort to get it - but what you can do is make sure that your skin is as good as possible by knowing what you should focus on to improve it and why. In this post, we are going to talk about going back to basics to take some of the essential things that you should be doing in order to keep your skin in the best possible condition.
Personal experience and friends suggestions are the tips that I'll be discussing below. Follow these tips, and you should see your skin will improve quite a lot, and in a fairly quick amount of time too.

Drink More Water
If there is one thing which is both essential and commonly overlooked, it is that of drinking plenty of water. Most of us do not drink enough water in our daily lives, and it leads to a huge number of complications and problems which are actually avoidable. One of those complications is that our skin becomes dry, flaky and unhealthy, and loses much of its natural glow. If you want to improve the quality of your skin, therefore, drinking more water is absolutely one of the most important things you can do. Make sure that you are doing so if you want to really take control of your skincare. If you only do this and nothing else, you will find that you still see a great improvement, and you will be able to see some changes very quickly. Make sure you drink the eight glasses a day that is recommended at least, and more if you want to - there is not really a maximum when it comes to water, and the more the merrier is definitely the case here.
Sort Out Your Nightly Routine
What you do before you go to bed is of particular importance, as it is in sleep that much of the reparation takes place across your body, including your skin. If you can prepare your skin for bedtime better you will find that it makes a huge difference to what happens in your sleep - and you will be much more likely to wake up looking and feeling radiant. So what should you be doing at night to improve your skincare regime? It’s pretty much up to you, but as long as you are showing it some love in those nighttime hours, you will find that you can make it a lot easier to take proper care of it. That could mean that you apply a charcoal mask, or that you simply make sure to religiously wash your face and neck before you go to bed. As long as you are taking some steps, you will find that you can much more effectively expect your skin to look its best, especially just after waking.

Moisturize, Moisturize, Moisturize
I can't stress this part of your routine skin care enough. If you want your skin to stay looking #youthful and being healthy, you need to make sure you are using moisturizer every day, and for some skin types several times a day. Drinking water, as we have seen, is the most important thing of all for your skin, and will help here hugely, but it’s also vital to make sure that you use moisturizer too to really make the most of that water intake. If you fail to do this, it is unlikely that your skin will be at its best, and you will probably find that you struggle to enjoy the look of it in the mirror. If you are wondering where to find the perfect moisturizer for you, it is often a case of merely shopping around until you can get hold of one that works. Do that, however, and it should be easy enough to make sure that your skin is being properly looked after. #Moisturizer might turn out to be your best friend here.
Sleep
The more #sleep you get, the better your skin will be - it’s a simple equation, and it shows where the very notion of beauty sleep comes from. The truth is that if you struggle to sleep enough at night, you will find that your skin looks dull and lifeless, whereas if you are getting a deep eight hours, you will be in a much better position with regards to your skin all over your body. If you struggle to sleep for whatever reason, it’s always a good idea to look into ways of improving that, as it will help to bust your skin but many other aspects of your health too.
Again I'm no expert, but I speak from experience when it comes to most of these tips. If you have suggestions please do share below.
