January started off just right, with my people of course, minus my husband but none the less, his trip went extra well and we were so excited to finally have him home a few days after the new year.
Lots of things getting accomplished and feeling really motivated to do all the things. And though I might be getting a slow start to the new year here on the blog, I’m sure it comes as no surprise that we’ve got nothing but ideas about things we’d love to make happen through the year ahead.
Any long-term plans are a bit up in the air at the moment but I’ve got loads of smaller projects I can’t wait to share in the mean time. I will do my best to keep y’all in the loop as much as I can on Instagram! So make sure to follow there as well.

Truth is, even though it's only mid-month it already feels like February will be here before we know it. But for now, here’s a quick update on where we are currently…
CURRENTLY.
Reading:
Literally sitting on my nightstand and only on chapter 2, but already loving this book a lot.
Writing:
What I’m feeling grateful for. My husband and I just started journaling into this Gratitude Journal.
Watching:
Dirty John by myself and The Witcher with my husband.
Needing:
To snap myself out of holiday mode! Anyone else struggle to get back into the swing of things after the holidays?
Creating:
Still working on the Playhouse, because Winter, therefore being outside with this SoCal chill is kinda hard, so I'm hoping to be finished sooner than later.
Planning:
All the cozy things to get us through the Winter.
Wearing:
Living in my LandsEnd Brown Ridding boots almost every day lately, these are some similar and more affordable.
Want:
These are all the trend right now and would really make getting up and going in the A.M. so much easier!
Working for me right now:
CBD oil and Gummies, it’s been every bit as wonderful as I’d hoped for my anxiety!
What’s not:
The current un-coziness of our house now that Christmas is put away. Who else's house is feeling like that?
Anticipating:
All the fun and knowledge this new year/decade has in store for us!
I’d LOVE to hear what you've been up to currently?
What are you most looking forward to in the month(s) ahead?
Wishing you all SUCH a lovely week!
