My Favorite Healthy Snacks & Favorite Ways To Snack At Home

So happy to be here as always! I would've been here sooner but it's been crazy because lately I've been busier and not as motivated to blog than normal. I'm on the computer most of the day for my other day job quite a bit so the struggle is real when it comes to getting motivated for blogging.

But it doesn't mean that I don't want to. I love to blog, it's my creative outlet and I love to share and I love to be here with you guys, even from a distance.

As you all may know, the month of May is National Physical Fitness and Sports Month. Therefore this post has been a long time coming and I'm glad to finally be sharing what some of my favorite healthy snacks are and love to keep around for when those cravings kick in.

So let me start by saying that all if not most of these snacks are Low-Carb Keto friendly and/or strictly Keto friendly but definitely along those lines. I'll make sure to specify in the description and I'll make sure to share sources at the very end of this post.

When I started eating Keto about 2 years ago I realized that the only way I would actually find out if it would work is if I actually stuck to it and went all in.  So I did.

And now I still don't eat carbs every day, if I do it's healthy carbs and I definitely stay away from bread, rice, grains, potatoes, desserts, etc.  The only time NOW that I do go out of my way to have BAD carbs is for a special occasion, holiday or birthday because I there is balance and I still want to enjoy the little things from time to time without depriving myself.  But keep in mind, those occasions happen very far in between.

With all of that said, here are some of my favorite and healthy snacks to have at home.

- Hard Boiled Eggs
- Peanut Butter & Almond Butter
- Greek Yogurt
- Cottage Cheese
- Pickles
- Almonds or Walnuts
- Laughing Cow Cheese
- Mozzarella String Cheese
- Beef or Turkey Jerky
- Avocados or Guacamole 
- Sweet Bell Peppers & Cucumber Slices (with Avocado or Blue Cheese Dressing)
- Roasted Sliced Turkey

Those are all great Keto options and easy and affordable to have at home for any time throughout the day, seriously the best.

And below my favorite store bought healthy snacks, most grocery stores carry these but Amazon is a great way to buy these in bulk. I love Keto snacks and being a fitness junkie, I definitely need all the protein.
