A Summer + Fall Outdoor Tablescape

Tis' the season for entertaining outdoors, okay, maybe not right in this very moment because Summer heatwaves. But Summer evenings or nights and in the early Fall are always the best time to have friends over for dinner or simple family dinners outdoors.

Either way, I love decorating a table for any occasion especially when it comes to entertaining outside. And when it comes to end of Summer and beginning of Fall it's so easy to dress up a table thanks to nature. Honestly adding lots of greenery with just a few of your favorite seasonal flowers will make all the difference.

Personally I love using greens and hues of yellows and orange for both seasons. I feel like they suit both Summer and Fall.

It doesn't hurt to have a few white plates laying around (for all the occasions and seasons) and clear wine glasses or flutes. They're versatile and easy enough to add to any kind of seasonal tablescape. It's worth the investment in any way to wish to make it. Personally I love shopping the Dollartree for plates and glasses when I'm short on time and money. But I also like to invest in higher quality dishes when I do have the time and money available. My favorites stores to shop are Crate n Barrel, Pier1 Imports, TJ Maxx (Homegoods) and World Market. They constantly have great deals and bargains not to mention coupons almost always.

I'll make sure to link a few favorites at the end of this post.

For this particular table I really didn't need all that much and in all honesty the Grey rectangle tablecloth is the real show stopper here. It really gives our outdoor bench table a dramatic look. Perfect for both indoors and outdoors. Easy to wash and won't shrink or wrinkle if you follow instructions on how to wash and upkeep.

This table cloth may look expensive but I can honestly tell you, it's not. That's why I personally love to shop at All Cotton and Linen! I'll share more of their products below, but I'm certain you've heard me talk about them before on my Instagram stories.

Not a lot of people like table cloths but personally I do. I feel that they can easily dress up a table without doing too much. Especially when the table isn't always pretty.

I love having a few, not too many, but enough to suit different occasions and reuse as necessary.

Adding a few bottles of wine or whatever drink you'll be serving in nice or cute bottles or even a pretty serving pitcher always adds charisma to a tablescape too.

I get excited when I can easily find things around my house that I already have to put something together so quickly. Makes it less stressful and more enjoyable when it comes to being present in the moment.

This table is not only giving me all the Summer vibes but the Fall feels too when it comes to being outdoors in our backyard with friends or family. Even just sitting out here enjoying a nice meal with my own little family crew is the best feeling.

The dried eucalyptus was some we had extra from a recent baby sprinkle but normally I buy my eucalyptus from a wholesale flower shop or Trader Joe's. The dried orange peels I've had and keep around for the Fall season but I love how they fit right in with the Summer feel too and match the lemonade bottles.

I love drying orange peels come fall to decorate with, easy and such an affordable way to decorate plus they make the house smell great!

The glass hurricanes with candles are from Dollartree and the faux battery operated candles are a purchase I made years ago from Pottery Barn and the best investment ever made!

Hope you enjoyed this fun tablescape of mine friends, and that it possibly inspires you in some way. I am enjoying Summer at home considering the circumstances and making the best of it yet. We have one life to live so why not live it grand, right in our own back yard!
