4 Amazing Ways To Feel Like You're On Top Of The World

There are days when we wake up, and everything seems to be going just right. We’re feeling good, the sun is shining, and we’re excited and motivated for the day ahead. But then there are the days when the opposite seems to be true. We’re just a little less sharp than we’d like to be, and the world isn’t quite as bright. Of course, we’d all prefer to be in the first state of mind. The good news is that you don’t have to just have to be a slave to your mood. There are things you can do that’ll push your day in the right direction. Yes, there are things you can do that’ll have you feeling on top of the world!

Improve Your Sleep


Even if everything in your life was going perfectly, you would struggle to enjoy it if you always felt as if you were on the verge of exhaustion. Getting a good night’s sleep is important for many reasons, including that it has such a big influence on how well you can enjoy the day. If you’re struggling to rest as well as you would like, take a look at your pre-sleep routine and the setup of your bedroom. If you’re drinking caffeine, getting too much screen time, or your bedroom is not conducive to a good night’s sleep, then you’ll struggle to get a full 6 - 8 hours each night.


Hit the Gym


Exercise is one of the best things you can do for your state of mind. There are other benefits too, of course, including giving your appearance and health a boost, but there’s something powerful about the impact it has on your mental wellbeing. If you spend an hour in the gym, you’ll leave feeling on top of the world, all because working up a sweat releases plenty of feelgood chemicals into your brain. If you’re not currently doing much by way of physical activity, then join a gym like Fitness 19, and get started. It won’t be long before you look and feel much better. 


Cold Showers


A guaranteed way to feel great: take a cold shower. It won’t be enjoyable at the time, of course, but you’ll have this strangely satisfying buzz when you step out that’ll last for a few hours! These particularly feel amazing after a workout. I highly recommend them.


Living Pure


While there are many things we can do to improve how we feel, sometimes the most effective thing we can do is to simply give up the things that may be bringing it down. There are many things that fall into this category, but perhaps the most common is alcohol and tobacco use. They’ll cause many, many health problems, especially if the use lasts for a period of time. Give up these two products, and you’ll feel much better. You can also look at your diet: is there too much fast-food in there? If so, you’ll want to work on eating meals that are more nutritious. 


A lot of times, all of this may seem easier said than done. But remember, practice makes somewhat perfect, because no one is perfect but we definitely strive to perfect our daily mood and routines.
