Master Bathroom Storage & Shelves

I remember telling you guys before the beginning of summer that I would share the final touches added to our master bath and of course time just flies and other projects get started and getting sidetracked is understatement.

But don't worry I didn't completely forget so here we are.

Although I did actually give you guys a final reveal of our master bath, the shelves and storage were still something I hadn't fully decided on.

But eventually I did and the brackets, shelves, lighting and extra storage for the vanity were finally picked out and bought.

These the $2.49 Ikea Shelves we purchased.

Adding those shelves really give this master bath added height to the ceiling and helps keeping items off the vanity countertop. Which are both really good reasons and just a good idea to add to any bathroom for extra storage and decor purposes.

Plus it also gives you the room to add art to the room. I am obsessed with sketch art as of lately and this one in particular I love in our master bath. By the way did you notice we also added the new vanity light fixture?

I love it and how it gives this space a modern yet eclectic feel. Adding both modern, eclectic and classic decor to our home is my jam.

Our vanity came with plenty of drawer storage except we lost one whole side of it due to having to make sure the plumbing git correctly. Therefore adding additional storage to the bottom portion of it was necessary. It has this large gap shelf storage below for either additional towels or baskets if you will. I went ahead and purchased these target coiled rope storage bins  which I thought would be nice and natural for the look in here plus they don't scratch up the bottom.

They're super soft and feel nice, they're deep and roomy for any extra items including toiler paper rolls. I actually have these bins all over our home, they're definitely one of my top favorite storage items from Target.

Having this space finally complete has been a blessing for us this year, we're happy to have yet another home renovation project done and we're hoping to finally tackle our downstairs half bath before the end of  the year. Fingers crossed.
