What are the Best Supplements for Your Life?

Everyone knows they must eat a healthy diet to ensure the optimal functioning of their skin, hair, nails, and internal organs. But sometimes, it can be tricky to get the levels of vitamins and nutrients required from conventional meals.

[Disclosure - collaborative post but recommendations are my own.]

That’s where health food supplements can help.

Vitamin D

Vitamin D is not produced naturally in the body; it must be added. Most public health bodies recommend that everyone over the age of one should take 10 micrograms of vitamin D every day. You can obtain this vital vitamin from natural sunlight or from a good supplement.

Depending on where you live and what your lifestyle is, you might be better off with a vitamin D supplement. Obviously, if you walk in the sunshine every day, this is the best source of the vitamin, but that isn’t realistic for everyone - especially in the winter.

Tumeric

There’s a reason that turmeric has been used for generations as a health supplement; however, no earlier generations didn’t know exactly why turmeric was good for the skin or healthy. Nowadays, we know it’s the cur-cumin in turmeric that prevents aging and reduces toxins.

Today, turmeric is used as a health supplement to reduce the effects of aging and to give your skin a healthy golden glow. Cur-cumin is the property of turmeric that makes the powder yellow; it also has anti-inflammatory properties that can stimulate your natural defences.

CBD Oils

CBD is an extract of the cannabis plant. Unlike THC, CBD does not contain any euphoric properties that might make you high; instead, CBD oil can help you to relax, boost your brain performance, and improve your recovery times post-workout. It comes in many forms.

CBD supplements from sugarandkush.com are available as traditional oils, but you can also get products with unique flavours and special foods. So if you enjoy eating cookies or having a CBD bath with a bath bomb, check out the website for innovative CBD products.

Of course, some people find THC - the component of cannabis which does get you high, even more effective in certain situations like for stress relief or pain management so it may be worth looking into THC products like Delta 8 vapes in some circumstances, too.

Multivitamins

Not everyone needs all the vitamins that are included in a multivitamin supplement, but in a way, that isn’t the point. The point of a multivitamin supplement is to make sure your body is getting the levels of vitamins it needs to assist the various functions of your body and brain.

Most people take a multivitamin supplement once a week or once a month, depending on their diet and lifestyle.

In general, this should be enough to maintain a healthy balance of vitamins. A multivitamin supplement is also recommended if you have deficiencies you don’t know about.

Spirulina

Spirulina is a type of seaweed that is packed with vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and antibodies. It can be consumed by humans and animals and is considered to be a superfood. You can use a spirulina supplement in your diet to boost your health and prevent deficiencies.

Spirulina can be bought in tablet form or in powder form. It’s a good idea to buy the product that suits your lifestyle best to increase your chances of consuming it. With spirulina in your diet, you can expect less fatigue, less tiredness, lower cholesterol and a stronger immune system.
