Winter Mood Boosters | Mental Wellness

 

It's been a hot minute since I've shared some of my personal recommendations for helping my mood. I've talked about how I've suffered from depression since I was younger and as an adult I've come to learn how to take care of myself and my mental wellness with natural elements.

I've done medication that doctors have prescribed and it wasn't for me, they gave me headaches and so throughout the years I've come to learn what works for me.


There isn't a whole lot to add to the list when it comes to mood boosters, but a little TLC goes a long way these days.
With the holidays upon us and winter months approaching, mental wellness should be a priority. It can be harder during this season due to the weather and a lot of times the holidays are not always a festive season for most.

In all honesty these days taking care of our mental health is more crucial than ever with so much going on in the world in can be easy to be sad, angry and anxious with so much happening around us and unfortunately sometimes changes happening in our lives as we try to maneuver all the moving parts in the world and adjusting to them.

So be kind to yourself and take time to focus on you.


I hope that these tips help you in some way and remind you that it's not at all hard to focus on yourself, just a matter of making it a daily ritual.
